Middle-aged women can reduce their risk of stroke by eating well, exercising and not smoking.<br />According to UPI, researchers say women's risk for stroke drops by 25% as they embrace a healthy lifestyle.<br />Researchers found that dietary modifications reduced stroke risk by as much as 23%.<br />The study showed that women who made changes in middle-age reduced their risk of total stroke by nearly 25%.<br />They also cut their risk for ischemic stroke, the most common type of stroke, by more than one-third.<br />Experts recommend quitting smoking, exercising at least 30 minutes and adding fruits and veggies to your diet.
